Liverpool sign Mac Allister from Brighton for £35m
Alexis Mac Allister has been acquired by Liverpool for £35 million in a long-term agreement from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Argentine star passed his physical examination with flying colours and accepted personal terms to become Liverpool's first acquisition of the summer transfer window.
About six months after helping his nation win the World Cup held in Qatar last year, Mac Allister arrives at Anfield.
Following considerable interest in Mac Allister as a result of his spectacular World Cup performance, Liverpool moved quickly to sign him.
With Brighton, the 24-year-old also enjoyed a very strong season.
