On Monday morning, a man's body was discovered close to the gate of Township Primary School in the Tafawa Belewa village of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State. 

This was a horrifying discovery.  Although the circumstances behind the man's death are still unknown, eyewitness Johnson Nyam stated that the incident most likely happened overnight.

“I was passing through the street of Tafawa Balewa community when I saw police vehicles together with a lot of people gathered at the Township Primary School gate.

“When I approached the place, I saw a man lying down, and some people were saying that it had happened in the night. However, nobody knows exactly what happened to the man, but he is not alive”, Nyam said .

Nyam also mentioned that the man's lips and nose appeared to be emitting suspected harmful substances, which begs the question of what caused his death.  

The witness urged authorities to carry out a comprehensive inquiry in order to ascertain the cause of death and provide additional insight into the events leading up to this unfortunate event.  Nyam emphasized, "Members near the scene should continue their investigation for proper documentation."
