Man commits suicide, jumped from Disneyland parking structure
According to accounts, a guy in his 50s apparently jumped to his death from a Disneyland parking garage in California on Saturday night.
According to ABC 7, the incident was reported to the police at about nine o'clock local time. According to witnesses, this caused the tram service to be suspended, forcing park visitors to walk back to their cars as police arrived on the scene.
According to authorities, the Orange County Coroner's Office also arrived at the scene.
Disneyland was contacted by Fox News Digital for comment, but no response was received in time for publication.
According to Anaheim police Public Information Officer Shane Carringer, the coroner's office has gathered the remains and will notify the next of kin.
On the same day that the event occurred, CEO Bob Iger visited the theme park. Josh D'Amaro, the chairman of Disney Parks, was spotted with Iger. Videos posted on Twitter show Disney guests applauding the CEO and even having one-on-one conversations with him.
Less than a year after his retirement, Iger replaced former CEO Bob Chapek as CEO just last month.
