Man who embarked on 19 days dry fasting gives up the ghost
One 58-year-old man who was starting a spiritual fast has passed away, according to the Lagos State Police Command.
This was verified by Benjamin Hundeyin, the command's spokesperson, to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.
According to Hundeyin, the event occurred on Monday at roughly 600 a.m. in the state's Alagbado axis.
According to him, the event was reported to the Alagbado Police Division on Monday at approximately 7 of the clock in the evening by the deceased younger brother, whose name was left out.
The younger brother claimed that during the purported 19-day dry fast, his brother passed away.
Hundeyin said, “No foul play suspected, family demands to convey the corpse for burial”.
