Mercy Chinwo to hold first live concert in Lagos
Mercy Chinwo, a well-known gospel singer from Nigeria, is scheduled to perform live for the first time in Lagos on March 29, 2024, which is Good Friday.
The free public concert, with the theme "Overwhelming Victory," will take place at the Eko Hotels and Suites beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The performance was announced in a statement by GNT Music, which is co-founded by Blessed Uzochikwa, the singer's husband, and falls under the Grace and Truth Nation (GNT) banner.
Pastor Uzochikwa added that the singer will release her 12-track album, "Overwhelming Victory," which she recorded while pregnant, during the "Mercy Chinwo Live In Concert."
“It’s a journey wrapped up in tunes of faith, hope and victory. Beyond entertainment, Mercy Chinwo’s music is a spiritual experience that uplifts, empowers and rejuvenates the soul,” the statement reads.
The new album, according to Chinwo, aims to "uplift, inspire, and affirm the listeners' faith."
