Miyetti Allah declares that no Fulani should support Peter Obi
The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, popularly known as Miyetti Allah, has claimed that it has told every Fulani in the nation not to support Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate.
Obi represents "the Biafran interest," which would not "favour the Fulani nation in Nigeria," the group claims, and is a "tribal bigot."
In an interview with Sunday PUNCH, the National Secretary-General of the Fulani socio-cultural group, Mr. Saleh Ahassan, stated that Obi was not on Miyetti Allah's list of candidates for the upcoming elections.
As far as we are concerned, we are aware of the candidates we cannot support.
Any Fulani guy who votes for Obi, whom they refer to as OBIdient, must be taken seriously since he might not be a true son of the soil.
"Obi stands in for Biafran interests. Therefore, we are aware of the candidates we cannot support and the Nigerian president we cannot elect. He insisted, "He is a bigot of the tribe.
In addition, Alhassan said that Obi "destroyed the enterprises of northerners and chased many Hausa and Fulani people from entering Anambra" while serving as governor of Anambra State.
In response, Mr. Jones Onwuasoanya, the spokesman for the Peter Obi Support Network, claimed that Obi was a nationalist who only had Nigerians' interests in mind.
Obi, in his words, "believes in One Nigeria" and is unwaveringly dedicated to realizing the One Nigeria dream and making Nigeria a prosperous country.
