Money redesign solves nothing in the economy– Primate Ayodele proclaims
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the NRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a warning that the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) plan to redesign the naira will not put an end to abduction and other forms of general insecurity in Nigeria.
The policy's architects, according to Ayodele's media assistant Oluwatosin Osho, were perplexed.
"The money design solves nothing in the economy, either you change it or not, it doesn't reduce terrorism, kidnapping, or insecurity, it's just a waste of money," claims Ayodele.
“These people are not seeing anything, those in charge are confused, we need divine intervention so we can get result.’’
In addition, Primate Ayodele advised Nigerians to oppose any efforts to abandon BVAS in the upcoming general election.
He said that using BVAS will stop election manipulation.
‘’Nigeria should protest if BVAS is nullified for the election, the only way to prevent rigging is by Using BVAS,†he added.
