Naira rises N1,615 per dollar in parallel market
In the parallel market, the value of the Naira increased to N1,615 on Friday. Likewise, in the official market, the value of the Naira increased to N1,474.78.
According to data released by FMDQ, the naira appreciated by N26 as the indicative exchange rate for the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) dropped from N1,500.78 to N1,474.78 per dollar on Thursday.
As a result, the gap between the NFEM rate and the parallel market increased from N119.22 to N141.4 per dollar on Thursday.
