Naira rises to N1,537 per dollar in parallel market
On Thursday, the Naira was worth N1,540 per dollar; today, it was worth N1,537 per dollar on the parallel market.
Similarly, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the Naira increased to N1,535 per dollar.
According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the value of the Naira increased by N1, as seen by the exchange rate dropping from N1,536 to N1,535 per dollar on Thursday.
As a result, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market dropped from N4 to N2 per dollar the day before.
