NDLEA apprehends two suspects during cocaine shipment in Lagos
On Wednesday, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency agents raided a hotel and apprehended individuals who were getting ready to consume 200 wraps of cocaine.
Based on intelligence, the operation went after those trying to smuggle drugs into Saudi Arabia in preparation for the ongoing Hajj trip.
Femi Babafemi, the agency's director of advocacy and media, posted the details and a video of the seized contraband on his X account on Thursday.
He shared a video and said, "Caught in the Act: Wednesday night, #ndlea_nigeria cops invaded their hotel rooms in an intelligence-led operation as they were getting ready to consume 200 wraps of cocaine ahead of their journey to the ongoing hajj in Saudi Arabia.
