NDLEA arrests groom, 25 others in Katsina wedding drug party
In a neighbourhood known as Shola Quarters, Katsina, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) agents broke up a drug-abuse competition before wedding ceremonies. They also detained twenty-five young people who were attending the drug party.
Based on the information obtained, the agents ambushed the individuals as they were occupied with alternately abusing various illegal substances, such as a concoction of several drugs combined in a plastic pail.
Despite not being present at the location when the other 25 people were taken into custody, the groom, Musa Gwandi, who planned the drug party with his friends, was apprehended on Sunday, December 3, after a manhunt.
