NDLEA intercepts cocaine concealed inside granulated pepper, yam flour
A sizable shipment of cocaine headed for the UK has been intercepted by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency agents.
The contraband, which was worth several million naira, was hidden inside common foods including yam flour, melon seeds, and granulated pepper. NDLEA finds narcotics hidden in yam flour and melon seeds.
The Director of Media and Advocacy for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, shared a video of the seized contraband on his X account on Sunday to reveal this information.
He wrote, “The unimaginable places #ndlea_nigeria officers find illicit drugs these days will make you cringe and be more careful when dealing with humans.
“In this video is cocaine worth millions, concealed in granulated pepper, melon seeds, yam flour, and other items, bound for the UK.”
