Nick Cannon down with pneumonia; says he just needs some rest

Ten years ago, Nick Cannon disclosed his Lupus diagnosis.

The celebrity, who is expecting his 12th child with baby mother Abby De La Rosa and his 11th child with Alyssa Miller, said on Friday that he is now being treated for pneumonia in the hospital.

'Okay, so I guess I'm not Superman...' the 42-year-old said in the caption, as he laid in a hospital bed with a mask on.

'I promised myself I would never be back at this place again... But this is a great lesson to take care of YOU or YOU won't be able to take care of everyone else. Don't trip though, I don't need any well wishes or prayers, just some solid rest and I will be back on the journey to becoming stronger than ever...'

'It's just pneumonia, nothing I can't handle. Crazy thing is, last night we was just rocking a sold out crowd at Madison square garden in front of thousands of fans, now I'm all alone in a tiny hospital room. Life is definitely a rollercoaster! #LupusWarrior.'

Nick will celebrate ten years since his Lupus diagnosis in January 2022. Lupus is an autoimmune condition that causes inflammation in the lungs, heart, brain, blood cells, kidneys, skin, and joints.

His baby mama Abby De La Rosa shared his post and wrote: 'Believing in gods healing hand over you, Prayers up for a real life superhero @nickcannon! We all need you,' adding a prayer emoji.

A few weeks after Abby revealed he was the father of her third kid, making this his 12th child total, he experienced a health crisis.

The DJ and Only Fans star recently shared a meme on her Instagram stories indicating that Nick is the father of her 17-month-old twins Zillion and Zion and that she is not carrying twins as she had hinted when she revealed her pregnancy in June.
