Nigeria singer, Kizz Daniel, arrested in Tanzania over failure to turn up at concert
Oluwatobiloba Daniel, better known by his stage as Kizz Daniel, a singer and songwriter, is said to have been detained in Tanzania after skipping a paid performance there.
According to viral videos, the singer's fans who had assembled at the location of his announced concert in Tanzania stormed out in rage and destroyed the location.
As part of his Afro Classic World Tour, the Buga crooner was slated to perform at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania on Sunday night.
An irate fan's video vandalizing the venue of the show after he failed to show up trended earlier.
However, recent footage emerging on Twitter shows the musician being brought into a police car while wearing a hooded jacket.
The videos had voices in the background expressing unhappiness with the singer's demeanour.
An angry voice was saying, “You will go in for it. You’ve caused damage in this country. I warned you yesterday.â€
Although the artist has not yet spoken on the matter, his followers have criticized him for his conduct.
A tweep, @olamideofficial said, “The last time I said Kizz Daniel needs to fix up. Some people came for my head. Here we are again. Talent is never enough. If there is something causing these constant issues, it needs to be fixed.
