Nigerian actor Emmanuel France is dead
Emmanuel France, a seasoned Nollywood actor, went suddenly. France, who was praised for his parts in films like Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director, was thought to be in his 80s.
On Monday, Nigerian director Femi Ogedengbe announced France's passing on his Instagram page, expressing sorrow and remembering their happy times spent together.
“Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France,” Ogedengbe wrote. “One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister and The Director. R.I.P.”
France's cause of death is still unknown as of the time this story was written.
His departure, which occurred only a few days after the passing of Big Larry, another Nollywood star, has shocked and grieved colleagues and fans.
