Nigerian actress Cindy Amadi is dead
Cindy Amadi, a well-known Nollywood actress best recognised for her part in the lesbian-themed film "Ife," has passed away.
The news was announced by the film's producers in a statement posted to its Instagram page.
“We are deeply and unbelievably saddened to learn about the passing of the actress Cindy Amadi, who played Adaora in #ìféthemovie.
“We cannot begin to imagine the pain and loss her family feels right now. On behalf of our entire cast and crew, we wish her family all the comfort they need at this time.
“Rest in Peace, Cindy. You will always live on in our hearts forever. Thank you for sharing your gift with us,†they wrote.
