Nigerian footballer, Ajibade, sent off against Morocco
Nigeria's Rasheedat Ajibade was also sent off as the Super Falcons face Morocco in the semi-finals of the 12th Africa Women's Cup of Nations in Rabat on Monday night
The Nigerians are now reduced to nine after Ajibade sacked their second yellow card in the 70th minute following a VAR check.
Nigeria were previously reduced to 10 players after Halimatu Ayinde received a red card in the 48th minute.
Morocco equalized against Nigeria in the 66th minute.
Uchenna Kanu had scored in the 62nd minute to give Nigeria an early lead.
Meanwhile, South Africa's Bayana Bayana qualified for Monday's WAFCON Finals.
In Monday night's spectacle, the Falcons were aiming for their 10th Women's AFCON final since the competition began as a biennial event in Nigeria 24 years ago. They have never missed a final game and Thursday's win over Cameroon confirmed they had never failed to reach the last four of the tournament.
In the opening game of the inaugural edition of Women AFCON hosted by Nigeria, the Super Falcons beat the Lionesses 8-0.
The Falcons have also won nine titles in eleven finals ahead of Morocco 2022, participated in all editions of the FIFA Women's World Cup and participated in three editions of the Olympic Women's Football Tournament and have become a global brand.
