Nigerian singer Dammy Krane released from prison

The Nigerian musician Dammy Krane was reportedly arrested and held for allegedly defaming Davido. 

He was later released from prison. Social media star Verydarkman (VDM) revealed the news of his release on August 29, 2024, through an Instagram post. In the video, the recently released Dammy Krane was seen thanking the social media star.

VDM wrote in his caption, "Dammykrane is out, dear @davido as you have honoured me by listening to my plea and granting my request in less than 4hrs God will honour you."

"I believe God is giving him a second chance and I hope and believe he focuses on his music moving on,HE IS TALENTED AND I PRAY HIS TALENT SHINES so he will be distracted lol thank you DAVID ADELEKE," he added, thanking Davido for releasing the singer.

A day after Verydarkman publicly begged Davido to graciously release the singer, Dammy Krane was finally freed. VDM posted on August 28, 2024, detailing his observation of Dammy Krane being held captive during a visit to a police station. 

VDM claims that he was at the station to express his gratitude to the police for helping him out with his work. He met a man during his visit who told him he had seen a famous person in a cell with dreadlocks.
