NIN registration reaches N110m– NIMC DG

According to information released by the National Identity Management Commission, there are now 110 million Nigerians with NINs. Compared to the 107.34 million that was recorded at the end of May 2024, this is a 2.39 percent growth.

The new statistic was revealed by the Commission's Director General, Abisoye Coker-Odusote, on Monday in Abuja during an ongoing celebration of the sixth National Day of Identity with the subject "Digital Public Infrastructure: Enabling Access to Services."

She said that the current NIMC management's strategy plan is to blame for this achievement, emphasising how crucial DPI's role has become to Nigeria's economic growth.
