According to the DAILY POST, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has lowered the price of its premium motor spirit.  

In the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the price of gasoline at NNPCL filling stations has been reduced from N950 to N935 per litre.  

The recent fuel price change at NNPCL retail locations was confirmed by a few Abuja drivers.  

Abdullahi Hashim, a resident of Kubwa, Abuja, said, ‘I observed the drop in the fuel price to N935 per litre on Saturday morning. It is a welcome development.”

The change follows Dangote Refinery's announcement that its ex-depot petrol price would drop from N865 to N835 per litre.
