NNPC Ltd bursts 58 illegal refineries in seven days
According to the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, in only one week, it discovered 19 illicit pipeline connections and 58 illicit refineries in the Niger Delta.
This comes one week after the national oil company revealed that it had found 29 illicit pipeline connections and 55 unlawful refineries.
The NNPCL claimed to have documented 159 instances of oil theft in the area in a video documentary posted on its official YouTube channel on Tuesday.
