Nollywood actor Dr Columbus Irosanga is dead
Dr. Columbus Irosanga, a distinguished scholar and veteran Nollywood actor, has dead. Actress Hilda Dokubo posted the information on her Instagram page on Thursday.
"There can't be a shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na!" she stated in her passionate letter. Uniport, Rivers State, and Nollywood are heavily impacted by this.
She continued, “Our uncle Coli @colu_mbusirisoanga has gone to be with the Lord. Ikoli eh dein na mu.”
Dr. Irosanga, who was born and reared in Okrika, Rivers State, was well-known for his strong performances as chief priests in Nollywood films, especially his famous part as "Igbudu" in the 2001 blockbuster Isakaba.
He received numerous honours for his extraordinary talent, including Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Best of Nollywood Awards, Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Best Actor in a Drama at the City People Entertainment Awards, and Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
