Nollywood actress Shan George defrauded of N3.6 million

Renowned Nollywood actress Shan George had her life savings, totaling N3.6 million, stolen from her Zenith Bank account. On Friday, May 3, George became suspicious when she noticed that a woman named Cecilia Chisgoziem Okoro had taken the aforementioned sum out of her account and transferred it to her Opay account. 

The distressed actress posted screenshots of the fraudulent activity on her Instagram page, begging with her followers and well-known celebrities for help. 

Nollywood actress Shan George raises alert over illegal removal of N3.6 million money from her Zenith Bank account by one Cecilia Okoro, according to her first post, which conveyed her sorrow.

“I need help cos I’m dy!ng. This person has just cleared my account. Pls my pple, everyone pls help. Pls Zenith Bank, Reverse it. I can’t access my app. I’m De@D Oga Jim Ovia.”

Along with the message, George included a screenshot of the transaction information that demonstrated how much money was taken out of her account. 

Shan George went into further detail about the matter in a later video post, bemoaning her present financial circumstances and voicing concerns for her children's safety.

“I’m left koboless right now, when I go eat with my children. @zenithbankplc @opay.ng please help me, my account at Zenith has been wiped clean just now, and paid into Opay. Pls help me reverse it. Opay customer’s name is Cecilia Chisgoziem Okoro. Pls, refund my money. ,” she captioned the video.
