Nollywood, Kannywood visits Jos to support Tinubu

Some Nollywood and Kannywood celebrities arrived in Jos, the capital of the Plateau, on Tuesday to support Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, and Senator Kashim Shettima, Tinubu's running mate.

The APC launched its presidential campaign in Jos to enlist Nigerians' support for Tinubu and Shettima as candidates for president and vice president, respectively.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has reported seeing performers from Nollywood and Kannywood, including Jide Kosoko, Gentle Jack, Sani Mu'azu Foluke Daramola, and Ali Nuhu.

There were also a number of other actors, including Zack Orji, Said Balogun, Taiwo Hassan, and Bimbo Akintola.

In a brief statement, Jide Kosoko stated that they were in Jos to show their support for Tinubu, who he claimed was capable of addressing the issues facing the nation.

According to Koso, Tinubu demonstrated his aptitude in each post he held.

Speaking on behalf of Kannywood, Ali Nuhu urged Nigerians to support Tinubu and Shettima.

To be able to cast a ballot for the pair, Nuhu urged people who have not yet had their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC).

The actor promised to do all it took to rally their supporters and members in support of Tinubu/Shettima.

“I am here with some of my colleagues and we are here to pledge our support for Tinubu,” he assured the audience.

In order to demonstrate their support for the APC candidates, the actors danced to various tunes.

Several musicians, including Terry G, Zulezu, and many others, are said to have played during the gathering, according to NAN.
