NSCDC to commence 2025 recruitment exercise

In 2025, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) will start hiring eligible young Nigerians.

This was said by NSCDC Commandant-General Ahmed Audi during the Wednesday opening of the NSCDC Bwari Divisional office in Abuja.

According to Audi, the Corps has received permission to start hiring employable Nigerians.

However, he stated that the public will be informed in due time of the date on which the exercise will begin.

“We are preparing to recruit officially, we appreciate Mr President for the approval to recruit well behaved Nigerians into the service,”Audi said.

He added that the divisional office will help with local security and praised the Bwari Area council for building it.

“The corps is proud of you and poised to cooperate with you and we will give you all assistance in reciprocation of your action,” he said.

The CG ordered other area divisions to follow the example set by the Kwali and Bwari divisions, which had constructed new buildings for the corps' use.

He claimed that because security organisations already worked together, NSCDC staff members served complimentary responsibilities to sister agencies.

“We perform complimentary roles and that is why after the arrest of certain suspects, we hand over such persons to the appropriate authorities while ensuring civility,” the CG said.
