NTA newscaster Aisha Bello is dead
Aisha Bello Mustapha, a veteran newsreader for Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), has passed away.
Her family released a statement announcing the tragic news of her passing.
Aisha had a distinguished 35-year career. She was well-known for her work as a prominent caster on NTA Network News at 9 PM during the 1990s and early 20s. Her last day of active duty was May 20, 2022.
Her family released the following statement: "Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun." May Allah pardon Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha, our mother.
“Mama indeed you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma. Funeral Prayer to hold in central mosque Abuja 1 pm on Monday, 11th December 2023.â€
Aisha was a well-known media figure who, until her passing, had a profound influence on Nigerian television.
