NYSC announces relocation opportunity for married corp members
Married female prospective members of the National Youth Service Corps who have been deployed to places where their husbands do not reside are asked to request redeployment by the organisation.
This was disclosed by the scam on Monday in a post on X.com.
The scheme said, “ATTENTION ALL 2024 BATCH ”B” STREAM II MARRIED FEMALE PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS
“All married female Prospective Corps members (PCM’s) who are deployed to States where their husbands are not domiciled should report to the nearest NYSC Orientation Camp for their State of Deployment to be changed.
The Nigerian government launched the NYSC program with the goal of enlisting graduates in national development and construction.
Decree No. 24, which stated that the program was formed "with a view to the proper encouragement and development of common ties among the youths of Nigeria and the promotion of national unity," served as the foundation for its establishment on May 22, 1973. Graduates must be under 30 at the time of graduation in order to qualify.
A Certificate of Exemption, which is the same as the NYSC Discharge Certificate, is given to those who have served more than 30 years.
A certificate of good participation is awarded to corps members who successfully complete the service year.
