OAU lecturer slumped, died in his office
It was reported that a lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun state, had collapsed and passed away in his office.
Dr. Ayo Ojediran, who passed away, gave lectures at the school's Faculty of Education's Department of Science and Technology Education.
It was learned that some of the lecturer's coworkers discovered him dead in his office on Tuesday, November 14.
Several of his coworkers called the deceased a "complete gentleman," and they expressed regret over his passing.
On his Facebook page, Ayodeji Obisesan, a close ally of the deceased, characterised the man as someone who was always ready to lend a hand.

Abiodun Olarewaju, the university's public relations officer, told me that the incident was extremely tragic, which is why the school decided not to release an official statement.
