OAU student Enitan hospitalised after 58-hour wash-a-thonn
Subair Enitan, an Obafemi Awolowo University student, is hospitalised after starting a handwashing marathon in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record.
The marathon had ended in the wee hours of Monday thanks to Enitan.
Enitan finished the marathon ahead of schedule, finishing in 58 hours, according to a post on the official X handle for the event. Her original goal was 50 hours.
Her hands have become wrinkled and white due to the excessive handwashing, as evidenced by a video that is currently making the rounds on social media.
She was also observed lying down on what appeared to be a hospital bed.
Enitan has not yet been recognised as a new record breaker by the Guinness World Record.
