Obasanjo professes that Nigeria needs a passionate leader
Former President Obasanjo declared his take on what kind of leader Nigeria needs.
Obasanjo asserted that Nigeria needs a leader driven by passion and "a touch of madness" to move forward.
He remarked while hosting Presidential aspirant Mohammed Hayatu-Deen of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.
The former president said Nigeria will overcome its security challenges within two years if the leader is willing to make difficult decisions. He said that passion means madness, therefore we need a leader that is mad about Nigeria.
