Ondo governor Akeredolu dies at 67
Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor of Ondo State, has passed away.
The governor reportedly passed away on Wednesday at the age of 67.
A prominent member of the state's ruling All Progressives Congress stated that preparations were being finalised for the inauguration of his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The state administration is still silent on the subject.
As of the time this report was filed, attempts to obtain confirmation from the Alagbaka Government House had been unsuccessful.
Mr. Richard Olabode, the governor's chief press secretary, did not answer calls or texts left on his phone when one of our correspondents tried to reach him.
