Ondo monarch Oba Fredrick Aroloye dies at 102
Oba Fredrick Aroloye, the Owa of Idanre and the first traditional ruler of Ondo State, has joined his ancestors.
The late monarch passed away on Tuesday at the age of 102. After taking the throne in 1976, he ruled for 42 years.
High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire, the Lisa of Idanre land and traditional Prime Minister of Idanre, confirmed his passing and stated that the appropriate customary procedures are already in place.
