Osun NSCDC gets Sotiyo Igbalawole as new commandant
Sotiyo Igbalawole Emmanuel, a new commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has been assigned to the Osun State Command.
The NSCDC Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar, recently authorised the deployment of Commandant Sotiyo.
According to a statement released on Thursday by Adeleke Kehinde, the spokeswoman for the Osun NSCDC, the recently deployed Commandant said that Sotiyo is taking over for Dr. Adaralewa Michael, who was elevated to the position of Assistant Commandant General, ACG.
The statement said, “Commandant Sotiyo hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master Degree in Public Administrations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state.
“He has attended a remarkable array of courses both home and abroad, establishing him as an expert in security architecture and leadership.”
