PDP set to flag-off Ondo State governorship campaign on October 15

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, it will have a flag-off event to formally begin its campaign for the impending Ondo State gubernatorial elections. 

Debo Ologunagba, the party's national publicity secretary, made this revelation in an Abuja statement.

The statement read, “This is to inform the teeming members of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), of the official flag-off of the Governorship election campaign in Ondo State, scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, 2024.”

In order to participate in the event, Ologunagba invited all party organs, leaders, members, supporters, and the general public. This is the start of what the party hopes would be a successful campaign leading up to the Ondo State governorship election on November 16, 2024. 

The people of Ondo State are yearning for a PDP-led administration, he noted, thus he advised PDP members to be united in their efforts to win.

“The National Working Committee (NWC) encourages all members of our party to continue working together to achieve the desired victory, as the majority of the people of Ondo State are earnestly awaiting a PDP government in the state,” the statement concluded.
