PDP supporting schemes to remove national chairman Abdullahi Adamu- Morka
The opposition, according to the All Progressives Congress (APC), is stoking rumors of a conspiracy to depose Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman.
Felix Morka, the national publicity secretary, responded on Wednesday.
The claims, according to Morka, are the product of sponsors who are "ostensibly alarmed by the spectacular successes of Adamu" since he took office.
The party and its leaders, according to the spokesman, are concentrated on preparing a winning political campaign and will not be sidetracked by the dull chirps of unproductive speculators.
He stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is welcome to keep using innuendos to drain its resources.
Instead of focusing on repairing its damaged and contentious home, Morka charged the PDP with "going after phantom schemes in the APC."
The National Working Committee is unified under Adamu's leadership, the party continued, and is "single-mindedly committed to winning the next general election."
