Peter Obi urges Nigerians to remain optimistic for a better nation
As Nigerians get ready to retake their country for good in 2023, Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, has advised them to hold onto hope for a better country.
In his Christmas message to Nigerians for 2022, Obi noted that Christmas was the birth of hope in the world and urged them to hold fast to that hope in order to build a better and more prosperous country.
He advised Nigerians to view 2023 as a pivotal year in the country's history because it will provide them with the chance to change the country's course by allowing only capable leaders to be in office.
He characterized Christmas as a time of love and said that it should serve as a permanent reminder of how God donated His only Son for the salvation of mankind.
“We, as humans, should, therefore, endeavour to make the sacrifice, even when it is painful, for the good of others and our societyâ€, he said.
He exhorted Nigerians to seek to more out of the holiday season rather than merely partake in its festivities and glitz.
He exhorted everyone to extend a helping hand to one another and said that the essence of the Christmas holiday is brotherly love and giving to the poor.
