Peter Obi visits RCCG camp, says he's grateful for the opportunity
The Labour Party's presidential candidate for 2023, Peter Obi, has expressed gratitude for the welcome he received on Friday at the camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The former governor of Anambra was at the RCCG Redemption City, formerly known as Redemption Camp, on Friday night for its ongoing convention dubbed Perfect Jubilee, according to a previous report by DAILY POST.
In a video that went viral earlier on Saturday, attendees of the event known as "Perfect Jubilee" reportedly cheered loudly when Obi was introduced at the church.
In a post on his verified Twitter account, Obi commented on the development and expressed his gratitude for the event's warm reception.
He wrote, “Sharing moments of true worship last night with a great congregation at the RCCG Convention was a special experience of joy, strength and love for me.
“I was humbled by the warm welcome, but above all, I am grateful for the opportunity to be in the midst of the brethren.â€
