Police arrest man with three human skulls in Lagos

Rasaki Asiwaju was stopped by agents of the Lagos Police Command for possessing three human skulls in his hands.

After being stopped by the police in the Lagos State neighborhood of Ayobo, Asiwaju was taken into custody.

On Monday, January 16, 2023, it was reported that Asiwaju was carrying a black nylon bag. When the police inquired about what was inside, he reportedly failed to provide any useful information.

The police allegedly opened the bag to see what was inside and discovered three skulls.

Asiwaju reportedly broke down in tears and bemoaned that his life had been ruined after learning that he had been found.

The suspect, who was wearing a blue shirt and brown pants, was seen hiding his face in embarrassment in social media videos that have gone viral.

“My daddy has died; you have already spoiled me, I saw the skulls inside the gutter this morning at Ayobo side. Ha, my life has spoiled, my life has spoiled.

“I am not taking them anywhere, they are for me; they are for my personal things. I know it is an offence, please,” Asiwaju said when he was interrogated for the human skulls found in his possession.

Rasaki Asiwaju, age 45, is the name of the suspect, according to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO). The State CID, Yaba, has received the case. During a stop-and-search, he was detained.

The State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, has been given the case for further investigation, the police officer continued.
