Police arrest pastor for preaching with AK-47 in Abuja
Pastor Uche Aigbe, the senior pastor of House on The Rock in Abuja, has been detained by the police for bringing an AK-47 to the pulpit.
Aigbe was taken into custody by the Force Intelligence Bureau's (FIB) Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
After a video went viral on social media, the police started an investigation.
On Sunday, the cleric is seen giving a sermon while toting a rifle on his left shoulder.
It was reported that an inspector named Musa Audu gave Aigbe his service weapon. The officer will stand trial in a quiet room.
Sadiq Abubakar, the Federal Capital Territory Command's commissioner of police, wants Audu fired for the misconduct.
The CP has officially recommended Usman Baba, the police inspector general.
On this subject, an update from the security agency is anticipated.
