Police arrest two men for destroying Falomo Bridge in Lagos
The Nigerian Police Force personnel in Lagos have detained the couple, Hassan Victor, 25, and Lolade Owojiri, 22.
Using bridge barriers on Falomo Bridge, a police crew from Ikoyi Division caught them at one in the morning.
In Lagos, the practice of cutting bridge barriers is starting to catch on.
A 30-year-old male named Mastru Mutairu was also observed damaging the railings of Carter Bridge on Wednesday at about 3:15 a.m.
He was apprehended after a driver reported a vandal on Carter Bridge to the police.
Ebute-ero Division police officers arrived quickly.
When Mutairu saw police officers, he started to flee but was caught.
