Police arrest woman who killed landlord by grabbing his manhood in Ogun
Ifeoma Ossai, 33, was detained by the Ogun State Police Command for killing Monday Oladele, 50, her landlord, after snatching his manhood.
According to a statement released by the police spokesman on Tuesday, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect was detained after the deceased brother, Olaleye Taiwo, filed a report at the Sango Ota divisional headquarters.
The dead allegedly requested that she pay the electricity bill, but Oyeyemi claimed that Ossai claimed that she insisted on holding off until the water immediately connected to her flat had been restored before doing so.
“On interrogation, the suspect claimed that the deceased asked her to pay for the electricity bill, but she insisted that until water is directly connected to her apartment as promised by the landlord before she packed in, she will not pay the electricity or any other utility bill,†Oyeyemi said.
“This led to a scuffle between them, the consequence upon which the suspect grabbed the manhood of the deceased and dragged him with it.
“The landlord fell unconsciously on the ground, and he was rushed to General Hospital, Ota, where the doctor on duty confirmed him dead.â€
He continued by saying that Frank Mba, the commissioner of police, had directed the suspect's immediate transfer to the state criminal investigation department's homicide branch for additional inquiry and prosecution.
