Police arrest woman with laminated INEC materials
A 53-year-old woman who was discovered in possession of laminated election materials is currently being held, according to the Lagos State Police Command.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a police spokesman, verified this to City Round on Friday.
In the Iyana-Ipaja region of Lagos State, Hundeyin claimed that the suspect was apprehended on Thursday at around 4 o'clock on Candos Road, Baruwa.
“She was arrested with 550 different INEC materials. The laptop she used in printing the materials has been recovered and she couldn’t give a good account of how she came into possession of the materials. The case has been transferred to the State CID, Yaba, for further investigation,†he added.
