Police declare 13-year-old girl missing in Umuahia
13-year-old Rejoice Ezeocha has been listed as missing by the Abia State Police Command.
The missing girl is a native of Ofeke, Azueke Ndume Ibeku, Umuahia North, but she also resides in Lodu Ndume, Ibeku, which is also in the State's Umuahia North LGA, according to a news statement from the Abia Police Command.
According to a statement issued by Maureen Chinaka, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Rejoice departed their home on July 18, 2023, for an unspecified location.
She further mentioned that her relatives' attempts to find her location were unsuccessful.
She claims that Rejoice, who is thirteen years old, has a dark complexion, is free of tribal traces, and speaks English well.
The statement made a request for anyone with pertinent information that would help locate Rejoice to get in touch with Prince Ezeocha of Ofeke, Azueke Ndume Ibeku, the Office of the Police Public Relations Officer, State Police Command Umuahia, or any nearby police station.
