Police nab three while trying to kidnap car dealer in Lagos
While attempting to kidnap an automobile dealer along Ebute-Igbogbo Road in Ikorodu, Lagos State, three kidnap suspects were apprehended.
The three suspects' arrests were verified on Wednesday by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokeswoman for the Lagos Police Command. Additionally, he spoke to the fact that two kidnapping gang members eluded capture.
He said that the suspects have been frightening the people living in the state's Ikorodu area.
Before being apprehended, the suspects made an attempt to kidnap an automobile dealer, according to Hundeyin.
“Three suspects, whose ages ranged from 23 to 33, (names withheld), have been in our custody since Tuesday shortly after the incident.
“Efforts are on to arrest two other suspects who escaped during the raid,” he said.
The spokesperson said that investigation on the case have commenced.
