Police rescue two kidnap victims in Edo
Two women who were abducted on April 14 from Oluoke Community, Iyamho, in Edo North, were freed on Saturday by the Edo State Police Command.
Moses Yamu, the command spokesperson, identified the two women as Esther Friday and Joy Iregbeyen in a statement.
According to the statement, the kidnappers shot one of the women in the foot out of rage while the police were on the rescue mission. Nonetheless, it mentioned that the shot woman is reacting to her therapy.
