President Tinubu arrives Netherlands for official visit
President Bola Tinubu has arrived in The Hague, the Netherlands' administrative capital, for his formal visit.
Tuesday, at approximately 10:10 p.m. Nigerian time, the NAF 001 aircraft, which was carrying Tinubu and his companions, landed at Amsterdam's Schiphol International Airport.
He received an invitation to visit from Kingdom of the Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
“While in the Netherlands, the President will participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum that will bring together heads of conglomerates and organizations in both countries,” the Presidency revealed in a statement signed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.?
In addition to separate meetings with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom, Tinubu will hold high-level talks with the Prime Minister. The Queen is the Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development for the UN Secretary-General.
In addition, heads of corporations and organisations from both nations will come together at the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum to discuss ways to work together and form partnerships, particularly in the fields of agriculture and water management, to develop creative solutions for sustainable farming methods.
