Progress Chukwuyem emerges winner of the Nigerian Idol season 7

 Progress Chukwuyem has emerged as the winner of the 7th edition of the Nigerian Idol after several weeks of competition. This was announced by IK Osakioduwa who was the host of the show. The 21-year-old Progress won after pulling more votes to beat fellow finalist Zadok in a voting season. IK Osakioduwa revealed that the top two secured 45 million votes in the finale week and more than 220 million votes throughout the season.  As the winner, Progress won a brand new SUV, a Bigi branded refrigerator, a year's supply of Bigi drinks, and a #30 million cash prize. He now has the opportunity to record an EP and six-week videos, a DSTV explorer fully installed with a 12 months premium subscription, abd a weekend getaway from TravelBeta. "Music is my life, it's everything, and it comes from a place of passion," Progress declared while sharing his next big steps. He professed that he is going to make great music and express himself in the best way he can. Out here, I’m in no competition with anybody, so I’m going to take it one step at a time," he proclaimed.
