Raphinha interested in Barcelona transfer
lthough it looked like they were in pole position to sign Raphinha from Leeds United, interest from Barcelona could force Chelsea to look for other targets.
A week ago, it looked like Chelsea were on the verge of signing Raphinha after he hijacked the move from Arsenal.
Todd Boehly reportedly wanted the transfer to go ahead quickly so he could focus on other deals.
However, Barcelona, who have been linked with Raphinha for some time, are vying with the Blues for the Brazilian's signature.
Now it looks like the Leeds United winger could force a move to Spain despite the lower transfer fee.
According to The Telegraph's Matt Law, Raphinha doesn't want to join Barcelona until this summer.
However, Barcelona aren't ready to accept Chelsea's offer due to their financial situation.
The Catalan side recently had to sell 10% of the TV rights and part of BLM, their licensing and merchandising division, to facilitate their debut.
Since Barca's offer for Raphinha is very add-on heavy, it means Leeds United are more open to accepting Chelsea's offer.
