Regina Ledum Barizaasi, a woman from Rivers State, has landed new employment in Port Harcourt after just being fired by her prior employer for participating in the two million-person march for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
According to DAILY POST, the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education 100-level student claimed in a popular video that her boss had fired her for attending the march on August 27 and asked Nigerians for assistance.
The young woman, who works as a receptionist in a Port Harcourt hotel, claimed in the video that she went to the event because it was her day off.
Regina stated she had relied on the income from her employment to pay her tuition and care for her siblings.
She said, “I was just laid off from work two days ago because I went out for the two million march for Peter Obi in Port Harcourt. I was working in a hotel as a receptionist.
"The day of the march was my off-day, so I was at home, after the march, I went back to work the following day and my boss now called me and said that I should go and meet Peter Obi to give me a jobâ€.
Regina, however, has reportedly worked for the Omega Power Ministry, OPM, management, according to a recent video that DAILY POST has access to.
She was given a better salary and hired to work at the church's cutting-edge printing press.
