Residents are kidnapped as bandits attack the Abuja estate

Bandits attacked the Efab Mini-Estate within the larger Genuine Estate in the Federal Capital Territory in the early hours of June 6, 2022, operating from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. before kidnapping some residents of the estate.

Sources revealed that the bandits, who were in large numbers, gained access to Genuine Estate after Efab Queens at 6th Avenue, Gwarinpa and attacked the residents, brandishing bows, arrows and machetes. Josephine Adeh, Police PR Officer, FCT Commando, DSP, said when contacted that the case was likely a robbery and not a kidnapping case. However, she said command personnel were dispatched to the scene to determine how the incident occurred, adding that the public will be duly notified after details of the incident are confirmed.
